The Ritz-Carlton Opened Its First Resort in the Maldives

The Ritz-Carlton just opened its first luxury resort in the island paradise and started welcoming first guests to embrace island life. It’s just a 10-minute seaplane or 45-minute boat trip from Malé’s Velana International Airport up to the Fari Islands archipelago in the North Malé Atoll. The resort has been designed by Australian architect Kerry Hill who took inspiration for the spherical buildings from the circular forms of the lagoon, the swirling ocean breezes, and the cyclical nature of island life. It features an impressive collection of private overwater and beachfront villas offering its guests white sand beaches, overwater and beachfront accommodations, spa, blue lagoons, pristine nature, and gorgeous resort surroundings. For those who need more than just relax, the resort offers a variety of activities such as local drumming classes, bike safaris, tennis and fitness classes, and much more. If you are looking for a luxury tropical getaway in the Maldives, this resort will make you deeply connected to the place offering plenty of opportunities to indulge.
